Spring on the Farm
May 16, 2026 – 12-3 p.m.
Spring on the Farm is fun for the whole family! Plant vegetables and flowers in the gardens, greet the new baby animals, explore the grounds, taste the cooking demo on the woodfire stove, and enjoy music from the Jolly Pops (12:15 PM-1: 15 PM)! Play games in the yard make a spring craft and more! This is a FREE community event for all.
Open Gate Hours (Free)
Open Gate Hours will return on June 6
During Open Gate hours you will have access to the grounds to explore, play, wander, and use your imagination to experience life and fun on the Farm. Visit the farm animals, walk the trails, explore the secret garden, or learn from the interpretive signage. We welcome you to get your hands dirty in the gardens and help with day-to-day chores around the Farm. There will be opportunities for structured play, nature activities, exploration of the grounds, and enjoying a picnic at the Eidem Farm.

Stories from the Porch (Free)
Will return on June 6
Reading of children’s stories start at 11 a.m., followed by playtime in the farm yard. Bring your chairs or picnic blankets, listen to children stories read aloud, then enjoy time playing on the grounds and visiting the farm animals. For featured stories visit our website.

2026 Family Concert Series (Free)
Join on a select group of Thursday evenings in the summer for our FREE family concert series. Each concert will begin at 6 p.m. but you can come early to explore the grounds before the concert. Each day the farm will be open starting at 10 a.m.
Feel free to pack a dinner and join us for some music and dancing!

Fall on the Farm
Visit the farm for a fun fall day! Families can experience a walking tour of the site on our accessible pathways and stop along the way to try fresh cider from the cider press, go on a hayride, sit by the bonfire, make caramel apple slices, and more!
The first floor of the farmhouse will be open to explore, as well as our nature play area, secret garden, and schoolhouse. Come check out our interpretive signage and enjoy a fall-themed storybook walk around the grounds.

An Eidem Farm Christmas
Experience the Christmas traditions from over 100 years ago! Learn how the Eidem family and other local families celebrated the holiday. Families can enjoy a walking tour of the site while participating in traditional winter activities and take home their own Christmas crafts. The first floor of the historic house will be open.
