Programs at Eidem Farm

Daily Life Events

Discover what happens during a typical day on the farm. Help with chores in the house and around the barnyard or get dirty tending the garden and repairing tools. The first floor of the historic house will be open for timed tours. Check back at a later date for 2022 schedule.

Stories from the Porch

Join us as we read stories from around the farm.  Reading of children’s stories start at 10:15 (daytime sessions) and 7:10 pm (evening sessions) followed by playtime in the barnyard.  Bring your chairs or picnic blankets, listen to children stories read aloud, then enjoy time playing on the grounds.  Videos of the readings will be posted on our Facebook page by the next day.  Note: the historic house is not open during this event. Check back at a later date for 2022 schedule.

Learn the history of Telemark Rosemaling and create your own unique design! You will be given a two-dimensional object to apply a base color of paint then apply the “S” and “C” scrolls to create an interesting pattern.
