Pay your utility bill

Residents can expect to receive a bill for these services once every three months.

When you receive your first billing statement, the back side of the bill contains helpful information on understanding your bill, meter readings, recycling, lawn watering restrictions, fees and more.

Online utility billing

If you experience difficulty with signing into your online account, please contact Utility billing for assistance. You can reach us by e-mail at BPUTBill@brooklynpark.org or calling 763-493-8185 during office hours.

We also offer environmentally friendly e-statements and e-payments for your utility account.

When you receive your first paper bill, there will be a code you may use to enroll in online services. When you enroll, you will be set up to receive bills electronically.  You can easily change your preference in your account profile if you prefer to receive paper bills.

Automatic payments

You can also choose to automatically pay your utility bill on a recurring basis through a checking or savings account.

The auto pay program is easy, fast, and free! To enroll, just complete the auto pay form on the back of your bill and mail it in with your payment.

Continue to pay your bill until the words “Do Not Pay – Bank Draft” appears on your bill.  Your bill will/ be paid from your enrolled bank account on the due date stated on your bill.

Utility billing period

You’ll receive a utility bill from us once a quarter based on where you live in Brooklyn Park. You can find your billing period based on your address.
