About camp
Summer camps have a tremendous impact on young people. Having the chance to spend quality time with caring adult staff allows campers to develop character strengths and social-emotional skills necessary for their future success. We strive to bring out the best in every child by filling their days with meaningful experiences and fun. Our work is built around our camp values:

Camp curriculum includes science, nature exploration, art, games, clubs, active play and themed activities each week. Activities are led by summer camp staff as well as specialists in the areas of science, nature, and art.

Brooklyn Park Summer Camp is for kids entering Kindergarten to 8th grade.

| 9:30-9:45 a.m. | Morning Meeting – Meet with group to talk through the day |
| 9:45-10:00 a.m. | Snack time |
| 10:00-11:00 a.m. | Specialist Activity block – Art, science, literacy, nature |
| 11:00-11:30 a.m. | Big Game |
| 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. | Lunch Bunch |
| 12:30-1:00 p.m. | Literacy Exploration |
| 1:00-2:00 p.m. | Specialist Activity block – Art, science, literacy, nature |
| 2:00-3:00 p.m. | Choice Time – There are 3- 4 planned activities offered at this time. Campers can self-select where they want to go each day. |
| 3:00-3:15 p.m. | Snack time |
| 3:14-4:15 p.m. | Big Game – This is a game that the whole camp plays together: Trench, 4 corners, Quidditch, etc. The 5-6 yr olds are usually offered an alternate activity if they prefer not to play. |
