Resources for Rental Property Managers
Brooklyn Park offers several programs for owners of multi-family rental communities in the city.
Community Engagement and Sustainability Grant Program
This program partners the City with large apartment communities to encourage community engagement efforts and build greater environmental sustainability. It aims to improve living conditions and promote a greater sense of neighborhood at these large communities.
The CES program supplements funding for projects that are supported by other regional partners such as Hennepin County and Shingle Creek Watershed Commission. Eligible projects include raingardens, native plantings, shoreline restoration, nature-based play areas and amenities that enhance the resident use of improved outdoor spaces.
Applications for this program are open. Complete this application and email it to Project Facilitator Malcolm Hicks at malcolm.hicks@brooklynpark.org to apply.

Equipment purchases and some amenities such as hot tubs are not eligible.
Loan amounts range from $10,000 – $100,000 for a term of up to 10 years. There are no income restrictions to qualify and interest rates vary between 0% and 3%
