Adult Fitness Programs

We offer a variety of fitness classes in the daytime and evenings offered for adults.


Register for adult fitness classes

How to enroll:

  1. Pay at the front office of the CAC
  2. Sign waiver and enrollment
  3. Swipe your card at the front desk before class
  4. Sign your name on the attendance sheet at each class

Pricing options:

  • Daytime punch pass ($50 for 10 classes)
  • One calendar month pass ($35)
  • Single class drop in ($5)
  • SilverSneakers, Healthy Contributions, Silver & Fit Membership**

Evening fitness classes

Evening classes are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  • Hatha Yoga, Tuesdays at 5 or 6 p.m.
  • Tabata, Thursdays at 5:30 p.m.
  • Restorative yoga, Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.

Pricing options:

  • Register for the session online
  • Evening punch pass ($80 for 10 classes)
  • Single class drop in ($8)

Class descriptions and activity levels

Check the daytime monthly schedule posted in the Community Activity Center for class changes and no dates! All classes are located at the Community Activity Center.

Passes for 10 classes can be purchased for daytime morning classes or with a SilverSneakers or Silver&Fit card. Stop at the front office to get started.

Activity levels

This scale is an approximate guide to the activity level of a class or trip. The scale is based on the level of activity and physical ability needed to perform the activity. If you are unsure if a class or trip is right for you contact us.

Daytime fitness classes

Walk with Ease

Intensity level: 1
Establish physical activity as part of everyday life! Over the six-week program, Walk with Ease builds confidence in ability to be physically active; increases balance, strength, and walking pace; and reduces pain and discomfort associated with arthritis. Everyone interested in being more active and meeting new people is invited to join! Walk With Ease is an evidence-based program created by the National Arthritis Foundation meeting three times a week for six weeks.

SilverSneakers® Classic

Intensity level: 1
Classic is designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and improve activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated exercises and standing support and class can be modified depending on fitness levels.

Chair Yoga

Intensity level: 1
Experience stress reduction through restorative breathing, and maximize flexibility, balance and range of motion while moving the whole body through a complete series of seated and standing poses (chair support offered for comfort and safety). All levels are welcome.

SilverSneakers® Yoga

Intensity level: 2
Get ready to move through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered so you can perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. This class is suitable for nearly every fitness level. No class Jan. 21.

SilverSneakers® Circuit

Intensity level: 3
The SilverSneakers Circuit workout offers standing, low-impact choreography alternated with standing upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball. A chair is available for standing support.

Better Bones

Intensity level: 3
Build healthier bones and reduce risk of fractures while increasing muscular strength and endurance. Handheld weights, tubing and body-weight exercises are utilized to sustain bone density.

Zumba Gold®

Intensity level: 3
Perfect for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves at a lower-intensity. The class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong! The class focuses on all elements of fitness: cardiovascular, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance.

Cardio Lite

Intensity level: 3
Classic aerobic movements to get the heart pumping along with strength training followed by an ab workout and final stretch. Cardio may include: step, kickboxing, hi/lo aerobics, and interval training. Strength may include: hand weights, resistance bands and body weight exercises. Floor work with chair modifications at the end of class for core.

Pilates Fusion

Intensity level: 3
Strengthen the body and add stability in your joints using basic pilates moves and balance exercises that focus on abs, back, hips and glutes. A fusion of light weights, bands and balls to mimic daily functions may be incorporated for pain prevention, balance and toning. Ending with a final relaxation stretch.

SilverSneakers® CardioFit

Intensity level: 4
Try a safe and heart-healthy aerobics class to energize your active lifestyle using low-impact movements that focus specifically on building upper-body and core strength plus cardio endurance. This is a higher intensity class than Classic and Circuit.

SilverSneakers® Boom Move

Intensity level: 5
A higher intensity dance workout class that improves cardio endurance and burns calories. MOVE is all about breaking a sweat and having fun. The class focuses on cardio endurance by starting with simple dance moves then building into more complex sequences, bringing you a great cardio workout. No class Feb. 27.

SilverSneakers® Boom Muscle

Intensity level: 5
Muscle incorporates athletic-based exercises that improve upper body conditioning. You’ll move through several “blocks,” which are groups of exercises that focus on different muscle groups. The focus of this class is on toning muscles and building overall strength. No class Feb. 27.

Senior Fitness – Are You Physically Fit?

This course will start with an initial fitness assessment. Following the assessment, this weekly exercise class will teach exercises that will improve your overall fitness, learning the benefits of regular exercise as you age. Learn exercises you can do at home to help maintain mobility and decrease your risk of falls. All levels will be accommodated. Class is taught by Andy Rapacz, American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist with Live Your Life Physical Therapy.

Evening fitness classes

Hatha Yoga

Learn to use breath to de-stress and focus your mind, while stretching and strengthening your whole body. Each class includes balancing, stretching, chest and hip opening, ab strengthening and a peaceful final rest. Designed for the beginner to intermediate student: individual poses are presented with deliberate cues and modifications to ensure a safe, fun, challenging, yet achievable class for all. Please dress lightly in non-baggy clothes, bring a mat, sweat towel and water bottle to class.


Tabata interval training is one of the most effective types of high intensity interval training. Through a variety of simple, yet intense exercises, Tabata will blast the calories and provide noticeable results in a short amount of time in both cardio & strength. Whether your goal is muscle tone, weight loss or general overall health, this class will provide what you are looking for. Bring a mat, towel and water bottle to class.

Restorative Yoga

Relax and restore with a gentle healing yoga that is practiced with props to provide a supportive environment for total relaxation. Let stress and tension melt away and connect with a deep sense of peace. Five to six long-held, gentle and relaxing poses are practiced per class; creating physiological responses which are beneficial to your health and can reduce the effects of stress-related illness. The class is slow, deeply nurturing and suitable for all ages – particularly those with chronic pain, injury, fatigue or limitations (participants need to be able to get up and down from the floor unassisted). Please dress lightly in non-baggy clothes, bring a mat, sweat towel and water bottle to class. No Class Nov. 28.

Can’t make it to our classes? That’s okay! The Community Activity Center (CAC) has a fitness room and walking track that you can visit any time during business hours.


$15 for a 30-day calendar pass or $3 per day.
