October-May, $3/time – tickets can be purchased at the CAC front desk.
Community Activity Center, Armory Gym

Silver Sneakers, OnePass and Renew Active can be used to play Pickleball in the gym this year. You must scan your card at the front desk to play.

Recreational Play

  • Mondays and Wednesdays: 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: 8  – 11 a.m.

Advanced Play

  • Mondays and Wednesdays: 8 – 11 a.m.
  • Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Please note – There are occasional canceled dates at the Community Activity Center. For more information, please call 763-493-8333. All cancelation dates will be emailed to those who are enrolled.

Indoor Rules:

  • There will be 3 courts available for play with a limit of 26 participants per session.
  • The cost to play is $3 per session. You can pay for open pickleball by purchasing a single day ticket or a booklet of 10 tickets from the CAC front office. Players my also utilize healthcare reimbursement through Medicare Supplement program.
  • No outside shoes.
  • Sign-in required each day. Utilize paper check-in sheets and/or scan your health care I.D. card.

Outdoor Pickleball

April-October, no cost

Outdoor Pickleball begins in April at Norwood and Bass Creek Parks.

Nets, balls and some paddles are available.

Norwood Park (8100 Newton Ave N)

Bass Creek Park (6665 Boone Ave N)

Outdoor Rules:

  • No cost per visit.
  • No sign-in required.
  • Uphold the Spirit of Play & Court Rotation guidelines listed below.

Spirit of Play & Court Rotation

  • Be respectful and inclusive.
  • Upper-Level players should be available to “play a game” with lower skilled players.
  • When unsure on a call, the benefit of the doubt goes to your opponent.
  • Courts are first-come first-serve.
  • Play one game to eleven (win by 2) then rotate off court.
  • All groups must rotate.
  • A group with 4 players can not skip in front of a partially filled group in front of them.
  • A foursome can only stay together for three games maximum, then must mix in with other players.
