34th Annual Real Estate Forum
The City of Brooklyn Park will host its 34th Annual Real Estate Forum on March 5, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Edinburgh USA. The theme for this year is, “Opportunities in Brooklyn Park: Unlocking Value in a Growing Market”. Council Member Shelle Page will open the program with welcome remarks to all the attendees, representing real estate professionals and brokers throughout the Twin Cities region, to the event.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the city’s development projects, educational opportunities, recreation and parks amenities, housing financial resources, as well as public safety initiatives. Also, attendees earned four (4) continuing education credits from the Minnesota Department of Commerce.

DAVID ARBIT is the Director of Research at Minnesota Realtors, leading market research, economic analysis, media relations, and advocacy support. He holds a master’s degree in Housing and Economic Development from the University of Minnesota and a degree in Political Science, with nearly 20 years of experience across housing, economic development, and tech sectors. Frequently cited in the media, he serves as a legislative expert witness and industry keynote speaker.
COUNCIL MEMBER SHELLE PAGE is a 25-year resident of Brooklyn Park’s Central District and a candidate for City Council in 2024. A Mortgage Consultant with over 30 years of experience, she is known for her integrity and commitment to helping others succeed. She raised her two daughters in District #279, supports First Responders and their specialized needs, and serves as a board member of Minneapolis Women’s Rotary, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women, children, and families.
TIM GLADHILL is the Community Development Director at the City of Brooklyn Park. He joined Brooklyn Park in September of 2024 from the City of Stillwater, where he served as Community Development Director, leading economic development, long-range planning, inspections, and code enforcement. He previously spent nearly 20 years with the City of Ramsey, advancing to Deputy City Administrator and Community Development Director. Tim is an active member of the American Planning Association, serving on its Board and previously as President of its Minnesota Chapter.

ERIC ZIEMER of CorTrust Mortgage provides personalized home loan and refinancing solutions in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Known for competitive rates, transparency, and strong local market knowledge, he guides clients through a smooth, efficient mortgage process. With years of industry experience, Eric is a trusted resource for tailored financing solutions.
CHONG LOR of TruStone Financial has helped clients finance homes, consolidate debt, and rebuild credit since 2013. As a mortgage consultant, he focuses on education and long-term relationships, guiding borrowers to the right TruStone programs for their needs. He has experience with conventional, FHA, VA, and down payment assistance loans, serving first-time buyers, move-up buyers, and investors.
DANIEL WHITESIDE is a Loan Officer with Wells Fargo based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He earned his Bachelor of Applied Science in Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato (2001–2004). With extensive experience in loan servicing, mortgage banking, and FHA financing, Daniel brings strong time management skills and in-depth lending expertise to every client relationship, helping borrowers navigate the home financing process with confidence.
JOHN KINARA is the Housing and Redevelopment Coordinator for the City of Brooklyn Park where he administers housing policy matters, various community development programs and projects with a focus on redevelopment and housing. He has a master’s degree in public administration from Hamline University and a certified Housing Development Finance Professional from the National Development Council.
PAUL MOGUSH has been the Planning Director at the City of Brooklyn Park since 2021. He has worked as an Urban Planner for nearly 20 years. Prior to that, Paul led the Long-Range Planning team at the City of Minneapolis. In addition to his work at the municipal level, Paul has been active with the Minnesota Chapter of the American Planning Association and the Minnesota Design Team. Paul holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Minnesota.
TONI WEINBECK is the Police Inspector at the City of Brooklyn Park. In 2002, she began her career with the Brooklyn Park Police Department and has over 20 years of experience providing safety and security to a community of 90,000 residents. Inspector Weinbeck is assigned to the south precinct of the city and leads a team of 30 staff.
BRAD TULLBERG has turned his passion for nature and the outdoors and sports of all types into a career as the Recreation and Parks Director at the City of Brooklyn Park. His team works hard to provide community access to top quality programs, events, services, and facilities. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Recreation Management from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota, Brad has spent his career developing parks, trails, programs, and facilities that help people of all ages and abilities to be active and healthy.
DR. KIM HIEL is the Superintendent of Osseo Area Schools, with nearly two decades of experience in education. She previously served as Assistant Superintendent of Osseo Area Schools—becoming the district’s first Black superintendent—and was a principal with Robbinsdale Area Schools.
She is passionate about student success and equity, and in her free time enjoys hiking, kickboxing, music, and theatre.
DR. MARCELLUS DAVIS is the Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Manager at the City of Brooklyn Park since 2021. Dr. Davis obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology at the University of Minnesota and a Doctor of Education at St. Cloud State University. He is a compassionate and visionary leader in multicultural urban development. A strategic leader, he is committed to creating inclusive environments and empowering communities through advocacy, education, and collaboration.
