Fall hockey training
Sponsored by North Metro Youth Hockey Association (NMYHA) and Brooklyn Park Recreation. NMYHA traveling coaches are preparing an advanced fall hockey training program for NMYHA players to get them ready for upcoming try-outs and season.
The program combines on-ice and dry-land training methods to get players to the next level and give them an edge for the upcoming tryouts for traveling teams.
To register or receive a flyer with schedule times call 763-493-8333 after July 1. All ice and dry land will be conducted at the Brooklyn Park Community Activity Center beginning August 24.
Levels
Girls U10 and U12, Mites, Squirts, Peewees, Bantams and goalies
No checking hockey league
Elite Gold and Silver Divisions
No checking/no slap-shot hockey league. Up to 20 players per team. This is an officiated league with a 10-game regular season and a 2-game guarantee tournament.
Ages
Open to post-high-school adults 18 or older.
Cost
$1,335 per team
Season dates
Summer league begins in April. Fall leagues begins in September. Winter league begins in January. Games are played Sunday through Thursday evenings.
