We conduct general inspections on all commercial businesses in Brooklyn Park.
The Fire Department Inspection/Investigation Division is under the direction of the city’s fire marshal. Day-to-day operations are led by the deputy fire marshals.
Occupancies such as schools, daycares, churches, restaurants, hotels and high-hazard occupancies are inspected annually while others are inspected every three years.
If you have a fire or life-safety concern regarding any property, please notify us immediately so we can maintain the highest possible level of protection in our community.
