Please be alert for single lane traffic, flaggers, pilot car
Beginning Monday, June 17, Hennepin County will resurface Winnetka Avenue (County Road 103) from 101st Avenue North in Brooklyn Park to Great River Road (County Road 12) in Champlin. Work is scheduled to take about a week and is weather dependent.
Crews will work on one side of the road at a time. Traffic will be brought through the project area one direction at a time using a pilot car. Watch for the flaggers and plan to take turns. Be alert for crews and allow extra time.
Note: Two sections of Winnetka Avenue–at the crossing of Rush Creek Regional Trail and at the intersection of 109th Avenue North–will not be resurfaced in this project. Those sections will be repaved in separate cross street projects in the upcoming year.
