A speed limit change is coming to 109th Avenue.
Following analysis of traffic speeds in the area, the speed limit on 109th Avenue from Maryland Avenue to Elm Creek Parkway will be changed from 45 mph to 40 mph in accordance with the City of Brooklyn Park’s speed limit setting policy and formal approval of the change from the City of Champlin. This change is expected to occur the week of May 23, 2022.
