February 20 – Black History Month Showcase
This year’s celebration embraces the national theme, “100 Years of Commemoration,” honoring a century of preserving, uplifting, and reflecting on Black history and contributions. Attendees can enjoy, for free, live performances, a vendor/resource fair, and food from a local Black owned business (limited supply). Learn more at www.brooklynpark.org/celebrate

May 30 – Tater Daze Parade & Community Gathering
Celebrate what makes us unique, united, and undiscovered! The annual Parade and gathering celebrates our diverse heritage and traditions. Both events offer ways community members can connect with each other and learn about city resources.

June 28 – River Park Fest
Bike, paddle, walk, or drive to River Park on June 28 for a day of fun for the whole family. This event features nature activities and community resources for recreating all summer long.

July 9 – October 8 (Wednesdays) – Farmers Market
The farmers market promotes and supports healthy living, local agriculture, and community interaction all in an upbeat, welcoming atmosphere. Farmers and producers sell their products directly to the public, allowing consumers to have a direct relationship with the vendor.

July 10 – Summer Splash
Stay cool this summer! Swing by this FREE annual event with family and friends of all ages to enjoy: Inflatables, splash pad, live DJ, food trucks, and more!

July 25 – September 19 Happy Hour on the Farm
Enjoy an outdoor evening with a cold beer, yard games and live music. Pick up a bite to eat from a food truck or just grab a drink from Heavy Rotation Brewing Co. and hang out!

August 20 – Back to School Bash
Gather at the CAC lawn for food, activities, and school supplies for kids K-8. Registration is required, more details to come.

September 12 – Latinofest
Launch Hispanic Heritage Month with the Brooklyn Park community. This event offers live music and salsa dancing from Salsa del Soul, cultural performances, art activities and community resources. Event is free and open to the public.

October 24 – Spooktacular
Mark your calendars for the FREE 2025 Spooktacular event on Saturday, October 25! Stop by Central Park for sweet treats, smiles, laughter, and more! Remember to dress up in your favorite costume as you take a stroll around the park.
