All rinks will have no staff present this season. Rinks with lights will be on from 4:45 to 10 p.m. during the rink season. The lights in Central Park will turn on 30 minutes prior to sundown.

Brooklyn Park now has two sites (Willowstone and Norwood Parks) that offer rink lighting that can be turned on by a push of a button and is on a timer. Once activated, lights will remain on until 10 p.m.

Warming House keys can be rented by visiting the Community Activity Center. Keys can be rented with a refundable $50 deposit upon return of the key.

Ice Rink Closure Information

We intend to keep rinks open as much as possible during the season. When there is extreme cold or heavy snow, please call 763-493-8181 and press #1 for rink cancelation information.

Ice Rink Snow Removal

During a snow fall, rinks are cleared as quickly as possible. Please be patient as snow removal crews must clear roads, sidewalks, and trails before rinks.
