River Park Grand Re-Opening

Brooklyn Park Recreation & Parks is proud to re-open River Park to the community with new and improved amenities. River Park is Brooklyn Park’s only park along the banks of the Mississippi River; enjoy it’s the natural beauty and outdoor recreation opportunities!
11:00 a.m. – Ribbon Cutting
12:00-3:00 p.m. – Community Celebration & Activities
Activities include:
- Music (1-2:30)
- Food trucks
- Paddle Share Information
- Kayak demo
- Story walk
- Rec on the Go family games
- Fishing clinic
- Pickleball Demo
- Cities United informational station youth outreach
- Nature activities for all ages
- Three Rivers Park District Environmental Education & Information
Parking
River Park, 101 83rd Ave N (accessible off 81st or 83rd Ave off of West River Road)
River Park has limited parking, shuttle service will be available from the Environmental Nature Area, 10201 West River Road
