Police Reform and Racial Justice Listening Session – West District

July 14, 2020 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Members of the Brooklyn Park City Council

Your Mayor and Council Members have the power to make change in our community.

Nationally and locally there are calls for the reform of police departments and to bring about racial justice. What changes do you want to see in our city? All are welcome and the City Council especially looks forward to hearing from our Black/African American residents and other communities of color.

These meetings will be in person at the Community Activity Center

When?
Tuesday, July 14, 6:30pm – West District – Armory gym

We will also host a virtual meeting in August. More information to come soon.

Space is limited due to social distancing guidelines* so please let us know if you plan to attend!

You can attend the meeting for another district if you are unable to make your own. Not sure which Council District you live in? Find out using our neighborhoods app.

Thanks to City Council and the Human Rights Commission for hosting these meetings!

*To limit the spread of COVID-19, the city is following social distancing guidelines. All participants from different households will be seated at least 6 feet apart and will be required to wear a mask. Masks will be available upon request.

Brooklyn Park is committed to ensuring that our materials are available in a variety of languages and formats.
