Living Well Resource Fair

Brooklyn Park Recreation & Parks invites community members to the annual Living Well Resource Fair. A FREE open house to provide information and resources to support our Age-Friendly community and quality of life at all ages, stages, and abilities! This event is open to all community members, with exhibitors and speakers tailored to older adults, individuals with disabilities, and care givers.

• Engage with 60 Exhibitors featuring resources and services to support you as you age
• Drop in to a 15 minute hot-topic speaker to learn about a variety of aging topics
• Free Vaccinations provided by Cub Pharmacy (with health insurance card): Flu, Covid-19, RSV, Pneumonia – available as supplies last

• Enjoy light refreshments

• Enter to win door prizes at many of the exhibitor tables

Learn about the New, Free Care Ecosystem program designed to support individuals living with dementia and their caregivers or those living alone without a caregiver. Care Ecosystem is centered around providing on-going, person-centered support through a combination of six care protocols: Medication Reconciliation Review, Behavior Management, Safety Screen & Recommendation, Caregiver Well-being, Referrals & Education, Advance Care Planning.

We’ll also discuss ways to reduce risk, how to alert authorities of a suspected scam, and how to file a report if you believe you’ve been taken advantage of. The best defense against frauds and scams is being educated!
