Community Unity: Ice Cream for Peace Rally

Join us again at 63rd and Zane for ice cream as we rally for peace throughout Brooklyn Park. Pledge to help spread peace in the Lakeland Park neighborhood.
What this looks like:
- Help neighborhood coordinators plan future events
- Connect with your neighbors
- Spread the word about peacebuilding in your neighborhood
- Hear from Dr. Raj Sethuraju, Associate Professor of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice at Metropolitan State University
With over 20 years of community-based activism as a researcher and educator. Inspired by the resilience of our youth and the men in our prison systems, he trains school staff, probation agents, community members, and justice personnel on restorative practices, trauma and healing, value-centered leadership, community building, and unpacking implicit biases.
