Community Dialogue on federal immigration activities

Shortly after his inauguration, President Trump declared a national emergency and issued executive orders on immigration, covering visa vetting, birthright citizenship, border security, trade agreements, asylum, and refugee programs. The City of Brooklyn Park City Council and Human Rights Commission are hosting a community discussion with Immigration Attorney Ernest Wiafe to clarify these orders and separate fact from fiction. The Brooklyn Park Police Department will also share its role in enforcing the orders. Residents are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and share their concerns.
