Breaking the Silence: A Community Conversation on Alzheimer’s & Dementia
Are you a family member, friend or neighbor of someone living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, do you provide them with support? Do you want to learn more? Please join us at our next Brooklyn Park Community Assembly as we learn about Alzheimer’s & Dementia.
Come learn about:
- Alzheimer’s and dementia, (the 10 signs, approaching memory loss, treatment and stages)
- Learn more about local support organizations including resources for caregivers
- Discuss the myths and taboos for different cultural groups
- Learn about the City of Brooklyn Park’s age-friendly initiative
