Brad Tullberg
Recreation and Parks Director
Brad believes that parks and recreation is vitally important to the quality of life in a community, ensuring the health of families and youth, and contributing to the economic and environmental well-being of a community. He is passionate about providing accessible programs, facilities and services to meet the needs of all residents in Brooklyn Park.
Brad was hired by the City of Brooklyn Park as the Parks and Facilities Manager in 2016 and was an integral part of the development of the 2018 Park System Plan, the 2018 Park Bond Referendum and the Park Bond Redevelopment Projects. Brad was hired as Recreation and Park Director on September 1, 2021. He has a Bachelor Degree from the College of St. Scholastica (Duluth, MN) in Sport & Recreation Management. Brad is also a graduate of the National Recreation and Parks Association Director’s School. He is an avid Minnesota sports fan and enjoys outdoor recreation activities.
