On Wednesday, March 3, 47 attendees participated in the Cities United Cohort Project Community Conversation with the Department of Public Safety (DPS). The community conversations addressed DPS’ plan and preparation ahead of the Derek Chauvin Trial. Panelists included:
- Nicole Archbold, DPS Community Affairs Director
- Department of Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington
- Minnesota State Patrol, Colonel Matt Langer,
- Minnesota National Guard, Lt. Colonel Colin Fleming and
- ASAC Michael Krause, FBI
“This is an excellent opportunity for young people and community members to learn from “the source” and provide feedback on what they are hearing now, in real time,” said Antonio Smith, Youth Services Liaison & City Lead, Cities United/My Brothers Keeper.
