National Night Out builds stronger neighborhood spirit, police-community partnerships and creates safer neighborhoods. National Night Out 2025 is scheduled for Tuesday, August 5.
Hosting a party
- Individual neighborhoods host their own block parties
- Invite your neighbors at least one week before the event – 10 houses to 200 houses, it’s up to you!
- Have a picnic, ice cream social, or just meet to talk – every party is different, do what works for you

Brooklyn Park’s Night Out
Brooklyn Park Night Out is a community kick-off event to National Night Out held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Central Park (8440 Regent Avenue North Brooklyn Park, MN 55448)! The event features lots of free activities and attractions for the whole family. Activities are from 7-9 p.m. This kick-off event is made possible with support from Twin Cities Road Crew. Activities inclue:
- Police cars and fire trucks
- ‘Copsicles’
- Yard games
- DJ kids dance party
- Popcorn and drinks for sale
- Food trucks
- And more!
