The City of Brooklyn Park has resources you can rent for events happening across the city. This is part of an effort to promote environmentally friendly practices and provide greener options to our residents.

Containers

Containers for recycling and organics recycling are available for rent. There is a fixed-rate deposit of $100 for container rentals, regardless of quantity. You may reserve up to eight of each kind of container:

Recycling containers

Recycling containers are intended for standard recyclable materials such as cans, bottles, and cups.

Banners

Banners are also available to draw attention to your waste and recycling locations. There is a fixed-rate deposit of $100 for banner rentals, regardless of quantity. You may reserve up to two of each kind of banner:

Stand-alone banners

Stand-alone banners are 10-foot tall free-standing signs.

Hanging banners

Hanging banners are 6-foot wide hanging banners.

Pickup & Drop-off

Pickup and drop-off are available Monday through Friday (except holidays) from 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Recycling Containers and Banners
NOTE: There is a fixed deposit of $100 for containers and $100 for banners regardless of how many you request.

(maximum 2) Banners are intended to be placed near waste stations to draw attention to their location. Banners are about 10 feet tall when assembled and designed to withstand moderate winds. Banners come in a carrying case with a base, support poles, assembly instructions, and two banner options: recycling only, and recycling and organics recycling.
How many hanging banners do you need?*
(maximum 2) These 6-foot long banners say Recycling Center and can hang above your containers to draw attention to the location of waste stations. Events need to provide a way to hang the banners - ropes and/or posts for hanging are not included.
