Police Department Scorecard Community Task Force Application

Brooklyn Park is seeking volunteers to serve on the Brooklyn Park Police Department Scorecard Community Task Force.

The purpose of this Scorecard is to evaluate the Brooklyn Park Police Department against best practices in law enforcement. The goal is to help Brooklyn Park promote transparency, accountability, and positive relationships with Brooklyn Park residents and stakeholders. The Scorecard was developed as part of a study by Wilder Research for the City of Brooklyn Park.


Task Force members must reside in the of the City of Brooklyn Park or operate and/or represent a business or organization within the city limits to be considered for appointment. The Task Force will convene the week of October 18. Interested applicants must be available during the evenings of this week.

Deadline to apply

Applications will be taken until Wednesday, September 22. Applicants will be notified of the interview process via email or telephone call.

Selection process

The City Council will appoint the Task Force members on Monday, October 11.

The information being requested on the application is not required, but the City Council will not be able to make an informed decision about whether or not you are the best candidate to appoint without this information.
