About the award
The City Council established the Mayor's Good Citizenship Awards to showcase and recognize residents who have volunteered their time to make the city a thriving community, inspiring pride where opportunities exist for all.
The Mayor knows the strength of a community is dependent on a strong network of volunteers who donate their time and effort to improve the quality of life in Brooklyn Park.
Requirements to be nominated
You must live in Brooklyn Park
You must volunteer your time to make Brooklyn Park a thriving community, inspiring pride where opportunities exist for all
Past winners are not eligible
Anyone can nominate you including neighbors, family, friends or yourself.
