DESCRIPTION:Connect with neighbors during an afternoon of healthy fun! \nArrive as early 12 p.m. to visit the food trucks and get a free bike tune up at the Brooklyn Center Health Fair. Three stops along the way provide activities\, music\, giveaways and an e-bike grand prize! \nAfter the ride\, visit IgboFest\, across the street at North Hennepin Community College\, to enjoy ethnic food\, music and performances until 6 pm. \nParking is available at the start and finish of the bike ride. The route is 6.5 miles long and takes approximately 1 hour to ride casually. Youth under 12 must ride with an adult. All riders must register. The first 300 registrations will receive a backpack! \nA Special THANK YOU to the Brooklyn Park Library\, Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center Staff\, Police and Fire Departments. \nCost: Adults $10\, Youth $5 \nClick here to pre-register for the event online. \nEvent schedule\n\n12-4 p.m. – Community Health Fair at Centennial Park\n12 p.m. – Day-of registration and rider number pickup\n2 p.m. – Event start\n4 p.m. – Giveaways at Plaza Park (you must be present to win!)
