SUMMARY:Catalytic Converter Anti-Theft Event
DESCRIPTION:We are partnering with the Minnesota Department of Commerce to help prevent catalytic converter thefts in our community. We have a limited number of serial number stickers available at this event for pick up. \nVehicles listed below are at a higher risk of catalytic converter theft. If you own a vehicle on the list below\, you are strongly encouraged to stop by. If you have had a converter stolen before\, we also encourage you to stop by. \nStickers are limited to 150 residents on a first come first serve basis. You must provide proof of residence in Brooklyn Park. No appointment required. \nUnfortunately we are not able to put the sticker on for you\, but it is a simple process and you are given instructions on how to do that. \nRegistered owner or an immediate family member that resides in the same household as the vehicle registers to\, along with the vehicle\, must be present.\n1 sticker issued per vehicle. \nVehicle list\n\nChevrolet Express\nFord Econoline\nFord trucks\nHonda Accord\nHonda CRV\nHonda Element\nHonda Odyssey\nHonda Pilot\nHyundai Santa Fe\nHyundai Tucson\nKia Sportage\nMitsubishi Eclipse\nMitsubishi Lancer\nMitsubishi Outlander\nToyota Prius\nToyota Sequoia\nToyota Tundra\nToyota Rav4\n\nDon’t own a vehicle on the list? Pre-registration is required if you want to get your catalytic converter painted. \nWe only have a limited number of spots for the spray paint appointments so once those are full\, they are full. \nClick here to sign up for stenciling online > \nTSI Transmission Shop and Auto Repair\nTSI Transmission Shop & Auto Repair (7860 Jolly Lane) has partnered with the Brooklyn Park Police Department to help deter and prevent catalytic converter thefts by offering to stamp your vehicles full VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) onto the catalytic converter to deter and help track stolen catalytic converters. \nThis service can be completed for a $60 fee\, after an appointment is scheduled. \nIf you bring your vehicle in for service\, and the services performed exceed $100.00\, then you can get your catalytic converter stamped for an additional cost of $30.00. \nCall 763-424-6630 to set up an appointment with TSI.
