An overview with Bill Blazar

Bill is the senior vice president of Public Affairs and Business Development for the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and a leader of the Minnesota Business Immigration Coalition. He is a past member and chair of the board of the Minnesota Government Relations Council. He has also served in a leadership capacity for Minnesota's P16 Education Partnership, the Minnesota Health Data Institute, and the Citizens League. Bill will speak on immigrants' contributions to Minnesota, their importance to Minnesota's economy, and ways to assure their future success through education and good jobs.

Local "Farm to Fork" Organic Produce with Rodrigo Cala

Rodrigo is an organic farmer, a trainer for the Latino Economic Development Center, and president of the Shared Ground Farmers' Cooperative Board. Rodrigo Cala will speak on the Farm to Fork program based on organic farming cooperatives, which provides healthy produce for local consumers while the profits from the sale of produce go to the farmers.
