DESCRIPTION:North Hennepin Community College (NHCC) is proud to present the second annual Stages of Equity Festival April 28-30\, 2022 featuring Twin Cities-based and nationally renowned Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) artists. The festival is a leading action of a wider college initiative that seeks to address racial equity\, racial awareness\, and inclusivity by expanding and diversifying the artistic voices and visions fostered at NHCC. \nThis year’s curated offerings will raise-up a wide spectrum of the arts by invited Twin Cities-based and nationally renowned BIPOC artists through author readings\, visual exhibitions\, workshops\, artists panels\, and music & theater performances. “Stages of Equity has grown this year with even more emphasis on the community we live in\, and the NHCC community we serve. We invite you to the northwest metro to join us as we celebrate the return of live performances at North Hennepin Community College! \nAll Stages of Equity events are free of charge and open to the community!
