Juneteenth Event

2022 Theme: “Freedom ain’t Free”
We recognize Juneteenth as a very important marker in the progress of American history. This American history through the experience of African Americans chronicles the ending of institutionalized enslavement. This is a FREE event open to all Brooklyn Park residents! No registration necessary.
Location
This event has been moved to the Health and Wellness Center at North Hennepin Community College. Parking is available using the 85th Ave entrance.

Activities
Activities include Juneteenth education/sankofa, performances from local artists, storytelling, family activities, resource fair, live DJ, raffles, and food trucks
Raffle
- Visit 5 vendors and get 5 stamps, and get an extra raffe ticket!
- Visit 10 vendors and get 10 stamps, get 2 extra raffe tickets!
- Visit all vendors and fill up the board and get 4 extra raffe tickets!
- This is for the second drawing (at 6:15 p.m.) or you can turn in for the last drawing at the end!
