Absentee Voting

You may find that you are unable to get to your polling place location on Election Day but still want to vote in the election. You can vote by casting an absentee ballot before Election Day.

Voters do not need to state a reason for voting before Election Day.

Hours for the Primary Election (August 14)

Monday through Friday, June 29 to August 13, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, August 11, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Hours for the General Election (November 6)

Monday through Friday, September 21 to November 5, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday, November 3, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Registering to vote

You do not need to be registered to vote to apply for an absentee ballot. If you are not registered to vote, you will receive a Voter Registration Application with your absentee ballot.

  • In person during the 46 days before a regularly scheduled elections


  • Complete the entire absentee voting process by mail
