The plan is for five areas to be hunted again this fall, and the areas include:
Hunt Areas and Maps:
The controlled hunt dates and locations are as follows:
Hunt Dates:
- October 4, 5, and 6 – all locations
- October 25, 26, and 27 – all locations
- November 8, 9, and 10 – all locations
The hunt will be conducted by Metro Bowhunters Resource Base (MBRB), a group that has managed hunts since 1995. Hunters, many of whom are from Brooklyn Park, are selected through a computerized lottery system. Only these permitted hunters are allowed to participate.
Questions or concerns regarding the hunt can be directed to Recreation and Parks Director Brad Tullberg by email at Brad.Tullberg@brooklynpark.org.
