Adult Social Clubs and Activities

Weekly activity groups

Join one (or more!) of our many social clubs and activities.

Adults, ages 55 and older, are invited to participate in a variety of social activities. If you are interested in an activity, club or group, please call the person listed and they will help you with the information and how to be involved.

Registration

A registration form with a $10 supplies fee is required each year to cover any for these activities. The fee covers any and all of these activities.

BP Spin Benders: History Book Club

Join our discussion of new and interesting titles. Bring along your recommendations for future meetings. All are welcome, even if you did not read the book, but enjoy historical discussion.

Lending copies may be picked up at the Library information desk before the meeting.

Coloring for Adults

Looking for a way to reduce some stress and unwind? Join us for an afternoon of coloring and fun. Grab a friend, sit back and have a good time. Supplies and soothing music provided.

Brooklyn Community Band

The Brooklyn Community Band has been playing for audiences in the northwest suburbs for over 50 years. A fun, dedicated group of adults rehearse weekly. All instruments are needed and welcome.

Monday nights at Northview Junior High School

Performances

Play 12 to 14 concerts each year. Most performances are in the summer months during outdoor performance season.

Cost

Membership fee is $45 per year. The membership fee is payable at first rehearsal.
