Sign up now for the May 1-28 Step To It challenge. Start spreading the word and get your friends and family excited about steps toward health throughout the year.
About the Challenge:
The Hennepin County and Brooklyn Park Step To It 28 Day Challenge is for you no matter what fitness level you are at right now. Join the challenge to reach 10,000 steps a day for 28 days.
We will award Minnesota Twins tickets to individuals who logged the most steps in their age bracket. These individuals are also recognized on the field at a Twins game. Other prizes will be given away too!
How do I sign up?
You can sign up for the challenge here. Make sure you select Brooklyn Park as your community.
How do I track my steps?
Here are a few suggested apps: MyFitnessPal, MapMyWalk, Fitbit, Apple Health, or these other free apps.
Login to https://www.steptoit.org/ daily or weekly, click the Activity Tab at the top of the page and follow the entry steps.
Bonus Miles at Community Activity Center (CAC):
Challenge participants may choose one free fitness class per week at the CAC May 1-28 (Stop at the Front Desk first for your class pass)
30 Min of Strength Training in the Fitness Room (CAC Members, Just $15 for 30 days. Enroll in person by April 27 at 5600 85th Avenue North)
1 mile on cardio machine in the Fitness Room or on the Indoor Walking Track
