Wish List - Eidem Homestead

    

 

Can you help? We need old-fashioned household articles for the Eidem Homestead! To provide living history programs at the Eidem Homestead, certain artifacts are needed to assist the demonstrators in a realistic portrayal of the era. All artifacts for the Eidem Homestead should date from 1890-1900 or before, or be reproductions of items from the same time period.

 

  • Bowls-cooking (crock, etc.)
  • Buckets-wooden, graniteware, galvanized tin (should hold water)
  • Butter crocks
  • Butter mold - wood with design
  • Candle holders - porcelain, tin, brass
  • Canvas - new or old neutral colors - small to large pieces
  • Castor set **
  • Chairs for bedroom
  • Child's lunch pail
  • Child's table and chairs
  • China cabinet
  • China set, tea leaf pattern (particularly dessert plates, cups and saucers) or set of any
    appropriate pattern
  • Clothes hooks (nice to fancy to screw into walls)
  • Containers-tin cans, 1880-1900
  • Cookie cutters - heart, gingerbread boy, etc.
  • Cookie sheets
  • Copper boiler and cover
  • Crib or cradle **
  • Crocks-of all sizes and description (20 gallon needed for sauerkraut)
  • Custard cups

  • Print for wall hanging magazine rack 15" high x 20" long
