Garbage Collection Services
Each apartment complex management group or property owner must make private arrangement for garbage collection services, selecting their contractor from the list of haulers licensed in that city. On-site collection areas should be conveniently located throughout the parking lot area, easily accessible to all residents and to the contractor. City ordinance requires that garbage areas be in an enclosure. Check with the city's Code Enforcement or Building Inspections office for specific requirements.
Collection dumpsters are for general garbage materials only. Chemicals, aerosol cans, motor oil, car batteries or household batteries, paint and solvents and any other hazardous waste MAY BE DROPPED-OFF AT THE HENNEPIN COUNTY RECYCLING CENTER AT 8100 JEFFERSON HIGHWAY, BROOKLYN PARK. If you have a large item of furniture and bedding that is in need of disposal, check with your building manager or property owner for instructions and facility policies.
Recycling Collection Services
Brooklyn Park - All apartment/multi-family complexes are included in the city-wide Brooklyn Park Recycling Program and services are provided by a single collection company.
