Open Skating
Open skating provides an opportunity for you and your family to enjoy the Brooklyn Park Community Activity Center's great ice arenas! Rink guards are on duty for highly attended sessions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Fees are $4 for adults, $3 for youth (under 18) and seniors (55+), and $11 for families. Preschoolers age 4 and under are admitted free with a paying adult. Limited skate rental is available for $3 per pair. Also offered for a $3 rental fee are skate trainers for beginning skaters and skate sledges for the physically disabled.
Open skate passes are available for purchase at the arena office. Adults are $35 for ten sessions, students/seniors are $25 for ten sessions.
Adult Open Hockey
Adult open hockey sessions are scheduled at the Brooklyn Park Ice Arena throughout the year at various days and times. Schedules will change from season to season. Current schedules are posted at the arena, on the recorded message line at 763-493-8181, as well as on line.
The fee is $7 per time, with a maximum of 20 skaters accepted prior to each session. Sign up sheets for first-come, first-served are placed out one hour prior to the start of the session at the office. Goalies skate free. Hockey helmet required, other equipment optional.
Open hockey passes are available for purchase at the arena office for $70 for twelve sessions.
The arena has basic hockey merchandise for sale (tape, mouth guards, etc.) and skate sharpening services are offered at the arena.
