The Fire Department's Emergency Management Division maintains the outdoor warning sirens for the City of Brooklyn Park.
These are OUTDOOR WARNING sirens; they are NOT intended to be able to provide a warning inside a building.
Outdoor warning sirens are tested throughout the year, typically the first Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m.
Annually, in conjunction with the Statewide Tornado Drill each April, every outdoor warning siren in Brooklyn Park is monitored to be sure they are functioning prior to our severe storm season.
