The Brooklyn Park Police Department serves a community rich in cultural diversity. Many people from around the world have come to Brooklyn Park and surrounding communities to build new and happy lives for themselves and their families. To support this dream, the Brooklyn Park Police Department has joined with Hennepin County and the Brooklyn Center Police Department to establish a new and unique initiative entitled the Joint Community Police Project. The primary goal of the initiative is to help immigrants become successful partners and feel safe in their new community. This will be uniquely accomplished by the blending of public safety and social services working collaboratively to anticipate and meet the social service and public safety needs of our new neighbors. If you would like to know more about this exciting initiative, please contact Brooklyn Park Police Community Liaison Robin Martinson at 763-493-8125 or via the web at robin.martinson@brooklynpark.org
