About the Senior Center
The Brooklyn Park Senior Center is a recreation facility dedicated to providing recreational and social leisure programming for adults ages 55 and over. It is located at the Community Activity Center, 5600 85th Ave N. The Senior Center, which opened in January 1999, boasts an inviting lounge complete with comfortable furnishings, a fireplace, large screen television, and table top games.
A wide variety of programs and activities are offered at the center, including day and extended trips, fitness classes, art opportunities, luncheons and entertainment, AAA driving courses, cards, bingo, book club and craft groups. The center is home to the Brooklyn Park Senior Club. Check the latest Recreation Parks activities brochure for details.
