Confirmation of registration
If you register in person you may ask for a receipt. Confirmations will not be mailed for registrations by mail, phone or fax.
Nonresident fee
Nonresidents pay an additional 20%. Nonresidents can receive the Recreation & Parks Activities Brochure for just $6 per year.
Pricing
Where two prices are listed for each class; first is the resident rate and second is the nonresident rate.
Missed classes
There are no refunds for missed classes or for quitting after the class start date.
Cancellations
Refunds will be given for registrations cancelled 3 days prior to the start of the class. A $3 cancellation fee will be charged per class, excluding trips.
Trip refunds
No refunds will be given after the registration deadline for any trips involving the advance purchase by
the city for tickets and transportation.
Class transfers
Transfers are available at no charge and must be made 3 days prior to the start of the class.
Inclusion requests
Be sure to state that you have a disability or a need for inclusion services at the time of registration.
Please register at least 2 weeks prior to a program start date to allow adequate time for inclusion services.
Fee assistance
Fee assistance for youth recreation programs is available. Please let us know if we may serve your family in this way. A simple application form is available when you register. Must be a Brooklyn Park resident to qualify.
