Osseo Area Schools serves most public school students in Brooklyn Park, as well as all or portions of the northwest Minneapolis suburbs of Brooklyn Center, Maple Grove, Osseo, Plymouth, Corcoran, Dayton and Hassan. The district has 19 elementary schools, four junior high and three senior high schools. It also offers an area learning center (grades 9-12), early childhood sites, a special education transition center for young adults, and sites for community education programming.
Anoka-Hennepin Schools is the largest suburban district in the area, with over 41,000 students. It has 28 elementary, seven middle, and six senior high schools, as well as two kindergarten centers and 11 special programs.
The Robbinsdale Area School District covers seven communities in the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota, including all or parts of Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Crystal, Golden Valley, New Hope, Plymouth and Robbinsdale.
The district serves approximately 13,000 students in 11 elementary, three middle and two high schools. Robbinsdale also has a Spanish immersion magnet K-5 school and an alternative high school.
