Field Trips
It's safe to say that most teens love field trips, which is great because Brooklyn Park offers some really exciting field trips! Most of the excursions are offered through the Teen Club and TeenWorld programs. However, everyone is welcome on any one of the more than eight trips offered throughout the year. What do you think about riding a wave at Bunker Beach or getting doused by one at Valleyfair? Or maybe a trip to the Holidazzle parade, a Timberwolves game, or the Anoka Haunted House is right up your alley. Whatever floats your boat, we are probably headed that direction!
Camping
Due to the fantastic win-win relationship we have with the Northern Star Council Scout program, local teens are able to experience the excitement and thrill of year round camping. Here is how it usually plays out. A group of enthusiastic teens participate in an overnight camping trip in July. Those who enjoyed that experience are asked to spend a week at Camp Many Point. This is where the fun begins! The week is spent swimming, canoeing, sailing, biking, hiking, rock climbing, and so much more. What an opportunity!
Service Projects
