You can vote by absentee ballot if you are unable to vote in person on Election Day for one of the following reasons:
- Away from home
- Ill or disabled
- An election judge serving in another precinct
- Unable to go the polling place due to a religious holiday or belief
Absentee voting begins 30 days prior to Election Day. You can receive an absentee ballot application by:
- Downloading the Absentee Ballot Application (You will also need a free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the file. Click here to download and install Adobe on your computer.)
- Calling Election Headquarters at 763-493-8180 and requesting an application be sent to you during an election year
- In person at the Brooklyn Park City Hall
You may either fax the completed application to 763-493-8391, or mail it to the City Clerk
