Transportation Permit Guidelines:

The City of Brooklyn Park requires that haulers obtain a transportation permit when the following legal dimensions and weights are exceeded.

Dimensions:

Legal Dimensions	Max (not to exceed)
Overall width:  8' 6" (102")	12' 6" (150")
Overall height:  13' 6" (162")	14' 0" (168")
Overall length (including any front or rear overhang):
Single vehicle: 40' (truck-crane 45')	60' max
Combination vehicle (not to exceed two units): 60'	85' max

Weights:

A permit is required when the vehicle exceeds 80,000 lbs. G.W.

Legal Weights	Max (not to exceed)
Steering axle:  legal (14,000 lbs.)	Legal
All other axles:	9 tons (per axle)
