Summer Open House: Thursdays, July 12 - August 30, from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Free Admission. Do you enjoy a quiet afternoon, a relaxed picnic and a great place for families? If so, come and visit the the old Eidem Homestead (Brooklyn Park Historical Farm) at 4345 101st Ave N.  We are a 1900s-era living history farm. We welcome you to join us. There will be costumed guides to show you around. No reservations are needed.

Some things you might do while visiting the Farm include playing croquet with costumed farm volunteers, rolling hoops, a game of marbles or jump rope. Of course there is also the possibility that you would be there at chore time! You could help pump water and water the gardens, pick potato bugs, weed the gardens or bring in wood for the wood stove. Oh...did we mention that the laundry is usually waiting to be done? This can take a bit of time since we wash only one piece of clothing at a time in the washtubs. Our livestock love to have visitors, too.

Open Gate on the Farm:  Wednesdays, June 27, July 18 & 25 from 10:00 a.m. - Noon.  Free Admission.  Step into a day in the life of a 1900's family.  The Eidem homestead interpreters and volunteers will be busy doing a variety of everyday tasks.  We might be cleaning house, working in the garden, repairing tools, or just rocking and knitting on the porch.  Stop by for a quiet morning on the farm. Lend a hand, or pull up a chair.

All in all, the Eidem Homestead is a fun place to visit, so pack a picnic lunch and drive to 4345 101st Ave N. We are located on the corner of Noble Parkway and 101st Ave N. You can also find us by going east on 101st Ave from Zane Ave N.
