Fire prevention education in the elementary schools is a program of which the Brooklyn Park Fire Department is especially proud. A specially-designed, age-appropriate program is presented to all children in grades Kindergarten - 5th, in all public schools in Brooklyn Park. These programs are now conducted throughout the school year as it became too difficult to schedule them all during Fire Prevention Week in October.
