Education for the public is available in a variety of forms, including
- station tours
- fire safety presentations
- informational booths at community events
- fire extinguisher demonstrations and/or training
- Safety Camp
- Juvenile fire setters intervention
- smoke detector program
Fire Prevention Week School Programs
Fire prevention education in the elementary schools is a program of which we are especially proud. A specially-designed, age-appropriate program is presented to all children in grades Kindergarten - 5th, in all public schools in Brooklyn Park each year during Fire Prevention Week in October.
