Families will enjoy a 1900’s style ‘Fall on the Farm' with hayrides, visiting the farm animals, demonstrations, pumpkin-carving contest, apple and pumpkin preparations and more at the Eidem Homestead located at 4345-101st Ave N, Brooklyn Park. Join us on Sunday, October 19, 2008, 1 - 4 p.m. The historic Eidem Homestead is a preserved living record of farm life in Minnesota at the turn of the century and consists of a number of buildings: farmhouse, barn, outhouse, outbuildings, chicken coop and windmill with period farm equipment and cropland. The barn and barnyard harbor farm animals such as cows, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys and cats.
