Strategic Goal:
Delivery of law enforcement services that are effective, timely, visible and appreciated for its excellence.
- Patrol functions that respond to emergency and routine calls in a timely fashion.
- Investigative function that responds to in-custody cases within specified guidelines.
- Investigative function that assigns reported crimes in a timely fashion.
- Support functions that accomplish work within stated timelines.
- Police service approval rating by citizens.
Strategic Goal:
Community involvement programs and efforts that provide for citizen participation in crime prevention and public safety.
- Formalized crime prevention programs, increasing number of personal contacts and presentations with citizens.
- Retention of existing neighborhood and business crime watches.
- Contact new residents, advising them of crime-watch related information.
- Continue to focus on public awareness through newsletter, cable and other media sources.
- Continue to utilize COPS Unit to reduce crime.
- Retention of citizen outreach programs and continue to promote positive relationships with citizens and other businesses and agencies.

Professional standards and code of conduct that all sworn officer and support staff are held accountable.
